Multicultural Counseling

The experience of multiracial and multicultural people is unique. It is often missed entirely by the people closest to us - parents, friends, teachers, coaches, pastors, etc. It’s largely missed in the larger dialogue about racial identity, which is so frequently cast in terms of only black and white. What about gray? What about those who don’t fit neatly into a category, a group, a stereotype? What about those who are hard to describe, who’s experience can’t be encapsulated in a single word or phrase? Where and to whom do we belong, and when?

These are just a few of the questions my clients and I ask together. I am interested in partnering with you in exploring these and any other questions you may have. Your experience matters. Your unique life matters.
